Pear Tree – January 2024

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.” - Albert Einstein

The year 2023 was a balancing act for sure. In so many ways it was the best year. It was a dream come true being in Ian Hunter’s video “I Hate Hate.” I also came onboard writing for Worrall Media and had a full year of journalism, public speaking, and cat sitting.

During this time I scored two dream interviews — Barbara Harris of The Toys; and Yvonne Elliman!

I also was a cat sitter for so many adorable kitties including a Bengal who I truly bonded with.

And, talk about a dream speaking engagement! March 14, 2024, I will be speaking at Barron Arts Center! (See details below).

Plus, I had not one, but TWO books published this year!! WOW!

But then…..

Tragically, this was also the year my mom passed away and left me going through the motions in a fog. I also lost a dear friend, Richard, who I knew since I was a teenager.

THIS is what made it so hard, of course. Words just can not describe…

As we enter 2024, we move forward…a little older, a little wiser, a little richer, and with a few more scars on our hearts.

No matter how rocky this year may be, I still plan to rock it, as always! What else can you do?

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

🥂
