People often ask me why I chose the name “Pear Tree” for my business. When coming up with a name, I figured The Beatles had success with Apple Records, so why not continue with the fruit theme. I also like the idea of something live, something delicious, and something that grows! All that sums up Pear Tree. It all started with a small vision 10 summers ago. I wanted to start my own home-based business working with people I like and doing things I love. Ten years later Pear Tree is still going strong. I’m doing more speaking engagements than ever; helping people write and edit their books prior to publication; and other freelance projects here and there. Life is good!
